Keith Airstrip SA – Gavin Flavel and Matt Hera-Singh arrive in Gavin’s Gyro.
The Keith Airstrip in SA is maintained by the Tatiara District Council. The Council maintains authorised landing areas located at Bordertown, Padthaway and Keith. Pilots should contact the Council Office to obtain details of strip conditions prior to departing for the Tatiara.
Bordertown and Keith are equipped with Pilot activated landing lights. Bordertown’s frequency is 122.4 and Keith’s frequency is 120.55.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service regularly use the Bordertown and Keith strips. Bordertown is the home of the Bordertown and Keith Gliding Club. This strip is also occasionally used by sky divers from Adelaide.
