Special Procedures and Comments: CTAF 119.0 WARNING: Tandem skydive operations most days from up to FL150. Dropzone up to 3nm radius around airport. Aerobatic flights conducted most days. Will occur up to 4500’ in vicinity of airport. Prior permission required to use. Pilots should check serviceability before use. No circuit training, touch and go’s or precautionary searches. Avoid overflying airport, surrounding houses & surrounding townships of Torquay and Breamlea. Powerlines and trees on approaches to RWY 18, 09 and 27. After heavy rain some areas may be soft/unusable. Kangaroos graze in adjacent wetlands and may be on runways, particularly around dawn/dusk. Birdlife around wetlands/airport can be considerable. Joining the circuit on downwind, base or straight-in is preferred. Only taxi and manoeuvre on marked runways and taxiways. Serviceability of other areas cannot be guaranteed. |
