Lethbridge in VIC is one of the state’s oldest Agriculture and Viticulture Regions. The area was one of the most popular routes from Melbourne to the Goldfields in Ballarat during the Goldrush. The current route to and from Melbourne to Ballarat (the Western Highway) was not the preferred route (due to steep inclines and mud etc), so travellers used to catch a paddle steamer from Melbourne to Geelong and ride via Cobb & Co and Horseback to the Goldfields.

Lethbridge is a rural township outside Geelong. Bluestone from Lethbridge quarries was used to build several significant buildings in Melbourne, including the steps to Parliament House.

The nearby Lethbridge Airport is home to many businesses and clubs that cover a wide range of services. These include Joyflights, Flying Lessons, Clubs for people of all interests – whether you’re building a plane, want to socialise or appreciate Antique Aircraft.
