“Straight away the cafe had a great ambience; colourful and happy. It has a great selection of tasty homemade cakes. We tried the baileys cheesecake and the carrot cake. Both were delicious. I am a bit of an aficionado of carrot cake and this one was delicious tasting and moist. You could definitely taste the Baileys in the cheesecake.
The coffee was excellent. We had one decaf cappuccino; no problem. Another friend had a Golden North ice cream; a special treat this side of the border.
It was easy to park and plenty of very colourful tables and chairs to sit on with an intriguing distressed look; shabby chic! The rooms were both air-conditioned and had fans. I met the owner; Amber, and she had a fanbase of happy customers whilst I was waiting to talk to her. Well worth a visit!”
