Cessnock Airport in NSW is located in the vineyards area on Wine Country Drive at Pokolbin, approximately seven kilometres north of Cessnock.
It is home to four flying schools offering training experience in both planes and helicopters. Scenic joy flights over the vineyards, aerobatic and jet aircraft and passenger charter services are also catered for.
The airport is also home to the Wirraway Aircraft Museum where you can see the only known operational Wirraway aeroplane in the world along with several other warbird aircraft such as a Hawker Hurricane and Grumman Avenger.
The Hunter Recreational Flying Club which caters for home-build and ultra-light planes (50+ planes) is also based at the airport.
