The Wildflower Shoppe & The Wave Rock Cafe
Located 500 metres from Wave Rock you will find the Wildflower Shoppe/Wave Rock Cafe/souvenir shop. For convenience, the visitor information centre is located in the same building.
At the café you can enjoy a hot espresso coffee with a tasty cafe-style meal. Enjoy the beautiful display of local dried wildflowers in the form of colourful butterflies which adorn the ceiling. You can sit inside around an open fire or dine alfresco, sitting on the deck. The deck overlooks the pond of black swans living in their natural habitat.
Group bookings and coaches are welcome. The Wildflower Shoppe/Cafe is a great place to meet up with a group of friends.
The helpful staff can provide you with local information, plus a wide range of brochures and tourist information. This includes the museums, road closures and wildflower sightings for visitors coming to Hyden and surrounds.
The Wildflower Shoppe/Cafe is the entry point for the Wildlife Park, Miniature Soldier Museum and the Lace Collection. You can purchase a Gold pass ($15 per adult and $7.50 per child) which will entitle you to enter the Pioneer Museum (located at the Kiosk at the Wave Rock Caravan Park), the Lace Place, the Miniature Soldier Museum and the Wildlife Park. The Gold Pass is valid for two days.
