Allendale Gardens is regarded as the areas best attraction and one of Tasmania’s best attractions. A superb 7 acres of delightful garden “rooms” designed to provide a spectacle of colour throughout the seasons. The gardens are flanked by a 65-acre “rainforest” walk. Devonshire teas are also available.
You will find these delightful gardens 10 kilometres south of Smithton on the way to the South Arthur Forests, the Western Lacrum Dairy FarmExplorer and the beautiful Tarkine Coast at Sarah Anne Rocks.
The Lacrum Dairy Farm (open for public viewing summer & autumn afternoons) has regular milking demonstrations, cheese tastings and sales.
