Jila Gallery Cafe
Jila Gallery Cafe is located in the very friendly town of Derby, the real gateway to the Gibb River road and the Kimberley. Jila Café started life as a gallery in 2008 and quickly progressed into a coffee shop and restaurant. We employed our first Roman chef in 2010. Riccardo brought into Derby exquisite authentic Pastas and other Italian dishes.
The name “Jila” is a traditional aboriginal name for a watering hole in this part of the Kimberley.
Jila Gallery Cafe serves traditional Italian delights plus Asian fusion favourites together with our weekly specials. We pride ourselves on our Pizza, the owner Mark having brought back his experience of pizza making from Southern Europe. Our pizza is made with very fresh ingredients and thin crusty dough bases with an Australian influence.
