Our namesake, the Tarkine, is an area within the Savage River National Park in North West Tasmania, Australia. The Tarkine is home to an abundance of pristine wilderness as well as largely undisturbed tracts of rare, cool temperate rainforest. The Tarkine provides habitat for over 60 threatened and endangered species of flora and fauna.
