It is located mid-way between the lucrative markets of Brisbane and Sydney. It&#8217;s also well as between the NSW regional centres of <strong><a aria-label=\"Port Macquarie (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/portmacquarieinfo.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">Port Macquarie<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/countryairstrips.com.au\/listing\/coffs-harbour-airport-nsw\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Coffs Harbour.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airport is owned and operated by Kempsey Shire Council. Kempsey Airport is used for a range of commercial and recreational purposes, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>charter operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pilot training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>skydiving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>local flying club<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>general aviation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>aircraft maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>medical and emergency services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityandcountryaircharters.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">City and Country Air Charters<\/a>&nbsp;operates from Kempsey\u2019s Aviation Business Park and offers charter services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently no daily passenger service operates at Kempsey Airport.
