Flinders Island Eco Escape is a secluded 3470ha island retreat located 35km south west of Elliston, South Australia, in the Investigator Group of Islands.
Welcoming just one group of guests at a time offers a chance to exclusively live and feel the freedom of the island lifestyle.
The newly renovated accommodation sleeps 12 and is situated right in Groper Bay, with stunning beach and cliff top views. It is also conveniently located just a few steps from the island’s airstrip.

Enjoy hiking and exploring 50kms of secluded coastline, from the rugged and windswept to the protected white sandy beaches. Visit local sites by 4WD vehicle (supplied), Caves, Gem Beach, secluded rock pools, and heritage area featuring native bush and flora.

Immerse yourself in the history of Flinders Island and visit the Kapara coastal steamer wreck, Bryant’s Bay ruins, natural springs, historical shearing shed and guano mine caves.
Surf, snorkel and dive the crystal clear waters right in the main homestead bay. Watch dolphins, sealions and the local Western Blue Groper at play from the front deck. Or get up close in the supplied kayak.

A fisherman’s dream. Located in the Investigator Group Marine Park, the diversity and abundance of species is second to none. King george whiting, king fish, tuna, abalone, southern rock lobster. Bring your own rods and fish from the many secluded bays.
