Only self-flyers staying at Faraway Bay can use the airstrip.
Faraway Bay is an inviting haven, nestled on a rocky hilltop overlooking the turquoise Timor Sea. The location, 280kms northwest of Kununurra, is in the remote and spellbinding Kimberley Coastal region of Western Australia.
With no road access, there is no chance of uninvited visitors dropping in. The camp is truly exclusive and only accessible by helicopter or light aircraft. So remote in fact that no regular air service is provided.
