The Copper Triangle Aerodrome in SA is located between the towns of Kadina, Wallaroo and Moonta and serves a land area of 773 Kms2. The Copper Coast Aerodrome is not licensed.
The aerodrome was opened on the 18th of April 1983.
The airstrip is available to facilitate the emergency landing of RFDS, or similar emergency services aircraft for the evacuation of persons requiring emergency medical care.
The landing area is suitable for night operations.

Special Procedures and Comments: CTAF 126.7 Noise sensitive areas exist around the airfield with Wallaroo to the West and Kadina to the East. No continuous circuits. Single aircraft departures and arrivals permitted. Continuous engine test runs are permitted during normal operating hours. |
